Not to be confused with "Phyllis Fickle" now warming up in the bull's pen. Pink Pagoda loves growing on our palm trees.
Once "Barbra" opens her first flower we will have 3 weeks of blooms, a few every day. This year's bloom honors our grand-niece Evangeline Kovarik's birthday.
Color and shape are very similar to "Barbra" but the number of petal layers is fewer. Very soft pink may get a new name after a few more blooms.
Phyllis Fickle looks a lot like Pink Pagoda but with a brighter interior and a few more ruffles.
aka Hookeri
pale, pretty, works at night
Fiesta Del Fuego, our lazy Epi. It blooms fully opened for just a few hours and then ever so slightly droops for the next few days.
Uneclipsed - Full Yellow - 11 inches wide. A bit lazy like Fiesta Del Fuego.
The colors match the name beautifully.
Fireball brilliance. Hearty and loves to bloom in May.
Dean gave us this one. He was a bit disappointed... expected a White bloom and got Red.
Queen of the Night
Short lived but quite lovely and odoriferous. This year we had few blooms and none until early Fall. Some blame global warming but not we.
Yellow Princess aka D. Macranthus. I am sure the folks who hybridized this variety know the significance of D Macranthus but we'll go with Yellow Princess for clarity.
