Happy Holidays was the theme of our family Christmas party, 2021. Not a sad eye in the house with 27 guests and a mess of kids. As we usually do, Andrew and I hosted and everyone brought food, beverages and lots of good cheer. While we tried to logisticate based on CDC guidelines, that just didn't work and as of this writing there were no reported illnesses or positive COVID tests.
Food highlights included an amazingly fabulous cherry smoked turkey, succulent honey baked ham, Tam's notorious crab pasta and Andrew's world famous fire shrimp.
After everyone was sufficiently sated we moved into the parlor for our annual White Elephant gift exchange which was uncommonly tame and mostly friendly.
