Google has to be the quickest and friendliest web search engine there is. We use it everyday from searching for something on the Internet to commanding our smart phones. Can't imagine being without a broadly comprehensive tool like Google. Detractors say that $$ rule the ranking of search results, well that's true for all of them and as long as we can find what we are looking for - Google rocks.
Wikipedia is amazing if you like quick access to a boat load of information. It's a terrific pleace to start when you just want to know what something is. It is not perfect or omnicient, but like most publications there is some bullshit mixed in with all the nerdiness. After all it is written by people. Stick that in your Funk and Wagnalls.
